A girl from Ringkøbing

Ringkøbing is the name of one of the traditional counties of Denmark, situated on the western coast of Jutland. This was the least densely populated of Denmark's counties. There is also a large town named Ringkøbing. This former county is now part of Region Mydtjylland. The photo on the opening page is from Ferring in Ringkøbing, and shows the rugged coastline well.
